The Virtual Space
The first thing to do inside is nothing. Stand. Listen. Walk slowly enough to hear your own steps. The space is built to reward that pace.
A permanent room
of The Best Place.
The virtual space is a permanent part of The Best Place. It hosts exhibitions, walks, and quiet visits at any time. Slow movement is recommended.
A working laboratory,
not a retreat.
We host a small number of practitioners each year, in Bali and through a connected virtual format, on projects that are already in motion. Time, quiet rooms, and access to the broader ecosystem — gallery, recording, digital publishing through the Dataism Temple — are what the residency provides.
Artists with a body of work.
Artists, musicians, writers, and thinkers working between physical and digital practice — those with a clear project for the residency period. We do not run open calls year-round.
Audio-place. Studio. Temple.
The audio-place sits next to the residency: a sound space for residents working in music, voice, or installation. Connected to the Dataism Temple for digital publishing.

Use arrow keys or drag to move. Tap and hold to look. Sound is on by default; you can mute it from the upper right.
Treat the space as a gallery. Do not rush. Visitors are welcome to remain silent.
